Baked potatoes, boiled rice, microwaved oats…they all get a little boring. In the offseason calories need to be maximized but tastebuds oftentimes get bored. Because we can not only afford but WELCOME some extra calories, here are a few of my favorite non-traditional carb sources that I use to pack in the calories without deviating too far from my typical diet.
