Most of our injectable treatments cause minimal discomfort. We use ultra-fine needles and, when appropriate, topical numbing cream or ice to maximize your comfort. Many clients describe injectables as a quick pinch — over in seconds. HydraFacials and laser treatments are generally painless with a warm or mild tingling sensation.

It depends on the treatment. Botox and Dysport typically last 3–4 months. Dermal fillers for lips last 6–12 months; cheek fillers can last 12–18 months or longer. HydraFacial results are immediate and improve with regular monthly treatments. Laser hair removal requires a series of 6–8 sessions for permanent reduction. We'll discuss realistic timelines during your consultation.

Most of our treatments have little to no downtime. Botox has virtually none — you can return to your day immediately, avoiding strenuous exercise for 24 hours. Fillers may cause mild swelling or bruising for 2–5 days. Chemical peels may involve light flaking for 3–7 days depending on depth. We'll walk you through everything to expect before your appointment.

Absolutely. All injectable treatments at Lumière are performed exclusively by our board-certified Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) or a collaborating physician. We are fully licensed and compliant with California medical aesthetics regulations. We do not delegate injections to unlicensed staff — ever. Your safety is our highest priority.
