Flex Lewis & Frank McGrath pays tribute over social media to their lost friend Dallas McCarver

On August 22, 2018, a whole year has passed since 26-year-old IFBB Pro, Dallas McCarver AKA “Big Country” was found unconscious in his home in Florida. McCarver was later on pronounced dead at the hospital arrival.

At an age of only 26, McCarver was already an achieved IFBB Pro and was also considered as one of the young top pros for the future.

When McCarver decided 3 years ago to move from Texas to Florida he became friends with 212-Olympia Flex Lewis. A relationship which developed into being more brotherlike than just friends.

In addition, both of them trained together many times at Flex’s own gym ‘The Dragon’s Lair’. Flex often called Dallas McCarver his “little brother” and both of them pushed each other through hard workouts.

“We miss you brother daily so proud to have you on the Dragon’s Lair looking down it’s been a year but gone and never will you be forgotten”

“Life’s short and as cliche as that is….. it’s true. None of us know when it’s time… so live life!”

Dallas McCarver is missed by a whole bodybuilding industry and will be remembered as the young champion he was.

Flex Lewis is currently 3 weeks away from making his last 212-Olympia before he moves up to the open division.

Which show Flex will choose is yet to be decided.
