Lauren Pappas

Our next RM Global Profile is orginally from Philadelphia US but decided a while back to move to in Los Angeles California. The reasons behind the move was because  of her passions such as actiLP copyng, modelling and working as a DJ. When she’s not caught up in work you should not be suprised if you find her in the center of the Mecca of bodybuilding, Golds Gym Venice.

Let’s welcome Global Profile and Bikini fitness competitor Lauren Pappas.
Country: US
State: California
Height: 5’3 / 160 cm
Division: Bikini
Ocupation: DJ, Fitness Model

RM: Lauren, what is the best thing about weight training?

LP: I’ve been lifting since I was 15 years old so it’s been apart of my daily routine for a few years. My Dad taught me how to lift, eat healthy & respect my body. When you eat clean & train consistently it’s amazing how you can sculpt & transform your body. It’s like building a house it doesn’t happen over night  but if train everyday over time you build a physique & it’s very rewarding. I love sharing my knowledge for weight trainiunnamedng with others & helping people achieve their fitness goals.

RM: What’s your favorite excersise additionaly dislike?

LP: Pull ups/chin ups. I love doing exercises with my own body weight. It’s very powerful & effective. My least favorite exercise…I don’t have one, I love them all. The more challenging the better : )

RM: I know that you have competed in the bikini fitness division, would you like to share your impressions from your contests?
LP: It was an honor to share the stage with so many dedicated athletes with beautiful physiques. The contests motivate people to get in great shape. But I believe in being shape year round, health & fitness are a lifestyle not a seasonal thing. I warn girls not to yoyo, it’s very common to see females gain 15-20lbs after competitions. Make eating healthy clean foods & exercise a priority everyday.

RM: When are you planning to compete again – and how far are you aiming in your fitness career?

LP: I don’t have any plans to compete again as of now. I’m open to the possibility in the future. I’m focused on my career as a DJ & fitness spokesperson. I want to positively effect as many lives as I can through health & fitness. I’m currently working on a project to fire people up to look their best & respect their bodies-it’s simple, effective & funnamed (5)un.

RM: What is your favorite thing to do on a Friday/Saturday night?
LP: I’m a DJ so I’m usually spinning on Friday & Saturday nights in LA or Vegas.

RM:  Do you have any favorite genres to listen to when you’re working out?

LP: As a DJ I make my own mixes to workout to. High energy, inspiring, feel good tunes that fire you up!

In the final words, is there anyone you would like to mention or something you might want to add please feel free to do so:

LP: I wanna thank director Chris Bell who helped guide me in the fitness industry & for believing in me. I’d like to thank Mike O’Hearn for showing me what fitness is really about through charity work. I’d thank Quest Nutrition, BSN & Magnum for all their awesome support & encouragement.

Thank you for the interview Lauren and best of luck in the bright future ahead of you.
