RM: What does a particular day look like in Camilla’s life – from the time you get up and then go to bed?

CB: I wake up 5 or 6 am and if I am doing a contest prep I do my cardio on my Stairmaster at home for about 45 min. Then I eat my breakfast that is usually omelet or oatmeal and relax a bit. I hate stressing in the morning so I always make sure I have enough time to drink my coffee and maybe watch an episode of “Friends” on tv to start my morning in good mood. I love mornings!

My work as a make up artist for a TV channel starts at 8 am so at 8 I’m doing make up and hairstyling before I have a couple of hours break in the middle of the day where I go to the gym to do my workout. At the gym I also have my office and after my workout I  have time answering to e-mails from my Personal Trainer costumers or to make nutrition and workout schedules for the members of Team Trifinity where me my sister Sara (Bikini Pro)  and brother Robert (Classic Bodybuilding competitor)  work as coaches.
At 3 pm I go back to the TV studio for more make up work and at after that I may have some customers at the gym. Later at night I’m often just chilling, reading books, doing some computer work or hanging out with family or friends.

800_9853RM: Camilla, which competition meant the most for you – and why this one in particular?

CB:  World Fitness Championships in Canada was such a fun trip and experience. All the other athletes had amazing physiques but I did’n feel any pressure, I just said to myself to go out on stage and have fun. I was already happy with my first place in Finnish Nationals and pretty happy about my shape but didn’t think my physique was good enough against the other beautiful girls. So it was amazing to get 3rd place, I was so surpriced!!

RM: What is the best thing about weight training?

CB: I feel good when I do my weight training, it is like meditation for me. I like to workout by myself with music in my ears and shut out the surroundings for an hour or two.  And of course it is nice to see the amazing results you get from lifting weights!

RM: When are you planning to compete again – and how far are you aiming in your fitness career?

CB: My plan is to compete again in the fall later this year.  Even though I am very happy with my third place in World Fitness Championships it would be fun to try to improve that result  this year if I get the chance to compete in World Championships again. It also would be nice to some day compete in Arnold Europe Amateur where my sister brought home the gold medal 2013. I also focus a lot on the athletes in our team and hope they will have a brilliant future in their fitness careers.

RM: How far do you believe you can go – career wise as a bikini competitor?

CB:  My sister Sara Back is a Bikini Pro and sure it would be fun to get up to that level but for now I really enjoy competing at amateur level!  I know I have ablogger-image-1634192841 couple of years of muscle-building ahead of me first if I want to become a Pro. But the most important thing for me is to enjoy life, I do not take it too serious! I enjoy lifting weights, spending time at the gym, coaching my athletes and I am trying to make the best of every day. I don’t know what the future may hold but I do think only sky is the limit and anything is possible.

RM: When will we see you on stage again?

CB:  Not entirely sure what competitions yet but the one I am almost sure of is Finnish Nationals at Nordic Fitness Expo 10-11 October 2015.

RM: Time for the round up Camilla – if you want to add something please feel free to do so:

CB: I am so lucky that I have had such a great support from followers on facebook and instagram and from my family and friends during my competitions. A big hug to them!

Thank you for your participation Camilla! Best of luck inte future of your endouvers and let’s make a new interview after you claimed your pro-card in the future.
