Our next IFBB Pro athlete is originally from United Kingdom but she is now living in Florida. She is a full time mother  who both works, coaches and competes in the sport she loves. In addition she is now aiming to get ready for the battles in the contest season of 2015.JD

1239389_437101236420828_908548093_nRM: Hi Jill, would you like to tell us about your routines in your life? – From the time you get up and later on go to bed:

JD: Wake 4.45am first thing coffee and cardio depending on where I am at in contest season . Wake kids at 6am make them breakfast , walk my dog ( chinese crested ) and off to bus stop with oldest and run youngest to pre school eating my breakfast in the car . My boys are 5 yrs and 10 yrs I am a single mom it’s always a go go go my car is always full of Tupperware and empty water bottles.

I work at a local gym right by the beach and have a great group of clients all ages all types of goals . Eating is done on the go and training is done when ever i get a break from clients . I do train 6 days a week I make sure I take time to get it done no matter what plus workout partner always waiting . After work , kids get home we spend time doing home work and then off to their sports activities . I encourage them to strive for great strength and speed in all of their activities ( encouraged gymnastics so they would develop core and upper body strength early )

We eat together every night and boys love my healthy food. When they are in bed I get time to relax n chill and catch up on facebook , instagram and emails .Pack and prepare food for following day so we can all grab’n go in the morning. I like to watch TV in bed it puts me to sleep:)

RM: Name 2 goals you have in the future of your fitness career?10360764_862566460448563_4955427784522003209_n

JD:

#1 To compete in my home country of Scotland / United Kingdom

#2 To have my children and parents see me on stage

RM: If you could change anything in the industry – what would that be?

JD: I am not sure I would change anything , it is its own animal …

RM: What does your weekly training schedule look like?

JD: Weight Training 6 days a week / solid hour of serious lifting Body splits depend on what my focus is on / usually working on lagging body parts more and keeping a balanced look. Right now cardio 3 times a week , obviously more alot more as i get into season further and show is getting closer.

RM: What are your passions b194813_255285867920936_1712215644_oesides training;

JD: I do not have much free time between my boys / work and training but I love the outdoors and make a point of enjoying Florida beaches , waterparks and weather whenever I can especially if can catch up with my friends . After growing up in Scotland having sunshine almost every day is paradise to me . I kinda do love heavy grunge music that’s my stress relief singing and dancin to that .. LOL
